Very dense and concentrated — about 10% of the berries had already started to shrivel by harvest. High alcohol, big extract, with those classic Ripasso-style aromas. Made in the usual SAZÜ way: silky, almost invisible tannins, low acidity, loads of fruit, and a long, lingering sip. A great vintage, and a wine that fully lives up to it.
